Neil L. Rose, a partner in the Tax and Estate Practice Group at Willcox Savage, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
A former IRS and Treasury Special Honors Attorney, Mr. Rose has over twenty-five years experience in the areas of estate planning and administration, federal and local taxation, real estate and corporate law. He has lectured on estate planning, corporate tax, real estate tax, Virginia sales and use tax, pension tax, tax exempt organizations, and limited liability company issues for the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, Virginia State Bar, ODU Tax Conference, the Virginia Society of CPAs and Virginia CLE.
Membership in ACTEC is by election of the regents of the College. Individual lawyers meeting the criteria for membership are nominated by fellows of the College, and subjected to careful review by both state and national membership selection committees, prior to consideration by the regents of the College. Fellows are selected based on their contributions to the practice of trust and estate law.
