Corporate transactional attorney and Willcox Savage Member, Joe Allen, was recently elected as the Chair of the Business Law Section for the Virginia State Bar for a term that will run until June 30, 2025.

“I’m excited and grateful for the appointment; there are a lot of fantastic attorneys in the Business Law Section and on the Board. I’m looking forward to doing my part to help continue the traditions of the Section with the 50th anniversary edition of the Advanced Business Law Conference. We have a great team on the Board, and we have a top-notch roster of speakers for the conference in September.”

About the VSB Business Law Section

The section facilitates understanding and synergies among these diverse fields of expertise as well as drawing from a wide range of talent in planning and delivering tools to increase the knowledge and effectiveness of our members.

Known for excellent continuing legal education programs and publications, the section is particularly proud of the exemplary reputation of the Annual Advanced Business Law Conference, now in its 50th year, and their tradition of collaborating with other sections to maximize the quality and effectiveness of the annual conference and other initiatives.
