Dani is an associate in the Labor and Employment Section. She is dedicated to protecting and defending business owners, managers, and Human Resources professionals in their efforts to provide fair and inclusive workplaces. Dani advises employers in drafting and enforcing effective policies and agreements aimed at preventing disputes. She is skilled at presenting a strong defense at the administrative level before the EEOC, OSHA, the DOL, and equivalent state agencies.
When litigation becomes necessary, Dani represents employers in state and federal court by bringing the details of complex issues into focus to obtain a favorable outcome for her clients.
Dani applies the same level of expertise to handing Fair Housing matters before HUD and state or local agencies.
Dani combines over a decade of experience in a wide variety of civil litigation matters, as well as several years behind the bench as a Circuit Court Staff Attorney, with her love of legal writing, to be an ardent advocate for employers and housing providers.
When she’s not practicing law, Dani enjoys snowboarding, hiking, roller skating, and boating.

- Obtained numerous pretrial dismissals of lawsuits filed against employer, railroad, and non-profit organization clients
- Won a post-trial ruling to strike a several hundred thousand dollar jury verdict in business conspiracy case, and defended petition for certiorari on brief to the Supreme Court of Virginia
- Secured defense verdicts in general district court trials
- Filed successful position statements to obtain numerous dismissals of administrative claims in the EEOC, HUD, and related state and local agencies
- Regularly briefs motions, conducts depositions and discovery, appears for oral argument, and negotiates favorable settlements in federal and state court proceedings
